The wax guard is exclusively designed for the digital, instant-fit, CIC ORISON hearing device. Located under the silicone eartip, onto the vent hole, it aims to keep any wax deposits outside the hearing aid. It should be rubbed regularly and changed once a month, to ensure that ORISON works optimally.

5 wax guards

5 wax guards are included with the initial purchase of ORISON. The wax guard is part of the care routine and protect the vent hole (sound outlet) from any wax deposits that would reduce the quality of sound reproduction. The pack includes :

  • 5 wax-guards,
  • 1 installation tool.

Care of the Orison hearing aid

For hygienic reasons, we recommend to clean ORISON after each use. The care  consists of :

  • Rubbing the hearing aid with a dry cloth to remove microorganisms,
  • Scrub the eartip with the dedicated brush,
  • Remove the eartip and scrub the vent hole with the dedicated brush.

Daily care of your ORISON hearing aid ensures its optimal functioning.
